Jennifer Biglan
Jen has spent more than two decades helping dogs and their people build stronger relationships through practical, reward-based training.
After beginning her career in animal welfare and dog training in Southern California, she returned to Oregon and built her own training business from the ground up. In 2015, she co-founded Training Spot, which has grown into one of the region’s leading training facilities and a gathering place for local pet owners.
Today, she leads a team of trainers providing group classes, private coaching, workshops, and other services, bringing extensive experience in both dog behavior and running a successful training business.
Amanda Collins
Amanda brings a unique perspective that bridges veterinary medicine and dog training, with a career focused on improving the health, welfare, and quality of life of both dogs and their families.
As a Licensed Veterinary Technician and professional dog trainer, she has dedicated her work to helping pet owners better understand behavior as a key component of overall wellness. Her approach emphasizes education, accessibility, and evidence-based practices that support both emotional and physical wellbeing.
Through ongoing professional development, community outreach, and a commitment to animal welfare, Amanda continues to advocate for stronger connections between veterinary care, behavior, and humane training.
Britte Holman
Britte has spent more than two decades working with dogs across service dog development, animal welfare, behavior modification, and family training. Her career began in service dog training and evolved into leadership roles focused on puppy development, enrichment, and behavior assessment.
She later worked extensively in animal sheltering, helping thousands of dogs with a wide range of behavioral challenges while developing expertise in behavior evaluation and rehabilitation.
Today, through Bright Paws, Britte helps dogs and their families build stronger relationships using a compassionate, evidence-based approach. She remains committed to continuing education and staying current with the latest advances in animal behavior and training.
Kristin Mills
Kristin has spent more than 15 years working with dogs and helping families build stronger, more rewarding relationships with their companions.
As the founder of The WoofPack, she takes a holistic approach to training that considers each dog’s behavior, genetics, lifestyle, and relationship with their owner. Her passion for training grew from her own experience navigating challenges with a beloved dog, inspiring her to help others find practical, lasting solutions.
Known for her work with reactive dogs and socialization, Kristin combines empathy, experience, and individualized guidance to help dogs and their families thrive together.
Rick Slowicki
Rick has dedicated his career to developing confident, capable dogs through hands-on experience in working dog programs, scent detection, and behavior training.
After beginning as a volunteer at the PennVet Working Dog Center, he spent eight years working alongside expert trainers and helping raise more than 100 working dogs across a wide range of disciplines. His experience spans everything from puppy development and environmental exposure to scent detection and behavior modification.
Today, as the founder of Park City K9 Academy, Rick combines his passion for the human-canine bond with practical, relationship-focused training to help dogs and their families succeed.
