In this article, we’ll walk through how to connect your MailerLite account to Fetch using your MailerLite API key. You’ll learn how to generate an API key, connect your account inside Fetch, select a default group, and begin syncing client information for newsletters, automations, and email marketing campaigns.

Integrating your MailerLite account with Fetch allows you to automatically sync client information from Fetch into MailerLite for email marketing, automations, newsletters, and follow-up campaigns.

Once connected, Fetch can automatically create or update contacts inside MailerLite as new clients are added to your account.

Before You Begin

Before connecting MailerLite to Fetch, you will need:

  • An active MailerLite account
  • Your MailerLite API Key
  • Administrator access inside Fetch

Get your API Key & API URL from MailerLite

  1. Log into your MailerLite account.
  2. Click Integrations from the sidebar
  3. There will be a section labeled MailerLite API, click Use under API
  4. In the API Tokens section, click the “Generate new token” button
  5. Give the token a name (ex. “Fetch”), toggle “ALL IPs Allowed” and check the box that you understand the requirements
  6. Click “Create token”
  7. You will use the token when connecting with Fetch

Important: The API token is required for the integration to function properly.

Connect MailerLite & Fetch

  1. Log into your Fetch account
  2. Click your account name in the upper-right corner
  3. Select Settings from the dropdown, then choose Integrations
  4. In the MailerLite card, click “Connect”
  5. Paste your API token
  6. Click Connect

Fetch will verify your credentials and establish the connection to your MailerLite account.

What Information Syncs?

Depending on your account settings and future automation preferences, Fetch may sync:

  • First Name
  • Last Name
  • Email Address
  • Phone Number

Disconnecting MailerLite

To disconnect your MailerLite account:

  1. Navigate to Settings → Integrations inside Fetch
  2. Open the MailerLite integration
  3. Click Disconnect

Disconnecting the integration will stop future syncing between Fetch and MailerLite. Existing contacts inside MailerLite will not be removed.


FAQs

If Fetch cannot connect to MailerLite due to an invalid key ensure:

  • API credentials are still active inside MailerLite
  • Confirm the API token was copied correctly
  • Make sure there are no extra spaces before or after either value

If your lists do not appear after connecting, disconnect and reconnect the integration if needed.

Confirm lists already exist inside MailerLite, refresh the page and/or click the resync icon in the MailerLite card.
